Our Process
How we spend our precious warm Ohio months1. Start
Our first seeds go into growing medium in late February
2. Transplant
Our starts are planted out in our Ohio gardens by Mothers Day
3. Care
We rely on Mother Nature's help, harnessing rainwater and yard waste in our gardens.
4. Harvest
We harvest our seeds throughout the summer and fall before frost hits in October.

The story of our little seed company
Ohio Born and Bred
Picked was grown in Northeast Ohio. Our growing season is mid-May to Mid-October, and we sell seeds all year round.
It started with a Marigold
We include a pack of marigolds free with each seed order as a nod to the plant that sparked the idea for our company.
